Akon gives his mom the deeds to his Atlanta home..

According to TMZ, Akon has turned over the deed to his 5 bedroom Atlanta home to his mom. Akon bought the home a decade ago for $293k but pimped it and made it more grand. Akon's mum is the president/CEO of the Konfidence Foundation, which helps kids in West Africa.

TMZ reports that there might be another reason for Akon transferring the house to his mum ...he's got a bunch of outstanding tax liens ... so it'll be a lot harder for IRS to go after the crib if it's no longer his.
