Is Kanye West To Blame For Rihanna’s Album Delays?

We’ve been waiting on that new Rihanna album for what seems like forever, but we’ve finally got an update.
The singer opened up about it on the cover story for the new and free weekly mag, which is set to drop Friday.
The Fader reports that in the story, Rihanna said the new LP isn’t finished yet. “To me, it’s never done until it’s done,” she explained.

But part of the LP’s delay might be due to Kanye West. Apparently, they’ve got some unfinished work to complete.
“We just have to wait to get back in the studio together,” she said. “His schedule and mine are totally opposite right now, but I think this month we’ll be back in the studio.”
The delays also have to do with track selection, which seems like a good problem to have.

“I have so many songs I love and they’re so different that it’s hard to actually put them all on the same album,” she explained.
The interview is reportedly set to also address Taylor Swift, feminism and her “BBHMM” music video. We’re looking forward to seeing more from this, but we’re even more excited about whatever RiRi and Ye are cooking.
