Did Drake’s Alleged Ghostwriter Make A Song With One Of Drake’s Rivals?

Drake’s alleged ghostwriter Quentin Miller was thrust into the spotlight when Meek Mill’s Drizzy feud erupted. Soon after that, QM “reference tracks” surfaced and he became even more famous. Now, with talk of the feud dying down a bit, we’re getting some more new music from the Georgia-based MC courtesy of Hit-Boy.

On Wednesday (Sep. 2), Hit unleashed Zoomin through Complex. The six-track EP has people going crazy, because Pusha-T and Miller appear on “Bussin’ Moves” together. That’s right. Drake’s alleged ghostwriter — who’s denied the allegations — and a longtime Drizzy rival showed up on the same Hit-Boy song.


Soon after the track hit the net, fans went bonkers with a series of LMAOs and LOLs about the whole thing.
However, we shouldn’t jump to any conclusions about what this might mean. Hit-Boy told Genius today that QM’s verse was recorded “for sure before the whole Drake thing” popped off and that Pusha Ton’s verse is actually much older than that.

Meek Mill Blasts Drake, Claims That He Doesn’t Write His Own Raps

“This Pusha verse is actually from the original ’Clique,’ by Jay Z, Kanye and Big Sean that I produced,” Hit said. “So this verse is three years old, but it’s f–king ridiculous, flawless bars. Just the flow and the way he’s in the pocket and the attitude about it… I felt like ’Bussin’ Moves’ was just a concept that made sense for how Pusha set it off.”
Push — who’s believed to have dissed Drake despite his denials — and QM appear to be happy with the final product.
And while there’s a chance all this could have been coincidental, it won’t stop fans from speculating about Drake:
